Membership contact works with site representatives on membership engagement for retaining and recruiting members and the distribution of materials. Membership contact provides CTA and district payroll department with the most current member information within their bargaining unit. Their responsibilities entail signing up members to join CTA, distribution of cards to their members, collecting demographic information, and reporting any changes to CTA regarding their members.
By keeping CTA updated on their members information, CTA can effectively communicate with members about events, benefits, educational issues, and political activities.
