Due to the rapidly changing situation and spread of the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), CTA is cancelling the 2020 Region IV Leadership Conference and trainings scheduled to begin Friday, May 1st, in Irvine.

Join us at the Region IV Leadership Conference on May 1 – 3, 2020 at the Irvine Marriott. This year’s Leadership Conference, “Building Power by Prioritizing Schools and Communities First,” is focused on the concept that Association leaders build power by working together at their respective sites. The advanced leadership workshops offered at this year’s conference will assist chapter leaders to succeed in this work.
The conference begins on Friday, May 1st and will conclude on Sunday, May 3rd. It begins with several pre-conference strands on Friday with CTA funding opportunities for release time and conference registration fee (refer to the pre-conference session information for descriptions and funding information.)
The conference continues Saturday and Sunday with over 30 electives from which participants can select.
The conference registration fee of $200.00 is inclusive of training materials and all meals (excludes Saturday dinner). The hotel room rate is $119.00 per night, single or double occupancy (plus all applicable taxes and fees). Self-parking is $15 per day (no in/out privileges); Overnight parking $15.00 per day (yes in/out privileges).

Grant applications must be received in the Region IV Norco office no later than Friday, April 10, 2020.
The Presidents’ Meeting with the CTA Executive Officers will be held on Sunday, May 3rd from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. CTA President Boyd would like to emphasize that this is your meeting and that it provides an opportunity to bring your questions, concerns as well as share ideas with your Region IV Chapter President colleagues.

University Credit Available
CTA Conferences are approved for university credit through the CSU Chico Department of Education. One unit of University Credit is available to those attending the main conference. A second unit of University Credit is available to those attending a Pre-Conference. If attending a Pre-Conference only, a reflection paper is due one week after the conclusion of the Conference. Professional Growth credit will be available at no cost for CTA members and will be emailed within two weeks of the conference.
Overnight: Self-parking $15.00 per night with in/out privileges.
Day Parking: Self-parking $15.00 per day no in/out privileges.
Valet Parking: 0- 15 min = Free; 15 min – 2 hours = $28.00; 2-24 hours = $36.00; with in/out privileges.
