Event description

The 2018 Academy offers hands-on learning that encompass the full spectrum of political skills and knowledge needed to be successful in political campaigns at the local and regional levels.

Locals are encouraged to send new participants and/or send members in teams. Locals are also encouraged to send their PAC Treasurers on Friday for a training in FPPC Compliance and Budgeting.

Please note: CTA will pay for lodging at a double occupancy rate. ALL OTHER EXPENSES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CHAPTER, SERVICE CENTER COUNCIL OR INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT. These expenses include transportation, additional room charges, and incidental expenses. Participants will not be reimbursed for meals NOT provided by the program, travel expenses and/or mileage.

Registration: 2:30-8:30 p.m.
FPPC Compliance Training for PAC Treasurers: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Welcome Buffet Dinner: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Hotel Check In: Begins at 3:00 p.m.

Saturday
Registration and Buffet Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
Schedule Review & Housekeeping: 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.
Core Training/Electives/Activities/ABC Processes: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided. Dinner is on your own.

Sunday
Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m
Core Training/Panel Discussion/Electives/Group Sharing: 8:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
Boxed lunch to go will be provided.
