Event description

The Spring Conference is held in April and highlights advocacy. While we wish that politics did not play a role in education, we know that having effective advocacy in Sacramento, a well-informed membership, and local Boards of Trustees who support our faculty and students are critical to our success. At this conference, we also highlight our “We Honor Ours” (WHO) Awards winners. This is a special program which honors our own local and state union leaders.

Please note: Delegates, CCA Building Strong Locals (BSL) Academy participants must attend all Council Sessions to be eligible for reimbursement.

DELEGATES
Each chapter is allotted a specific number of paid delegates based on chapter membership. Chapter leaders may verify the number of chapter delegates with Bonita Lovell, Field Services Specialist, at (916) 288-4921 or blovell@cta.org. Contact your local chapter leaders if you would like to be a conference delegate.
