New Educator Weekend Elective Sessions

Save the Date and plan to join your colleagues March 10-12, 2017 in Southern California for a great weekend full of learning. Share your stories and learn from others who have successfully navigated their early years in the profession and meet others that are going through their first years.

This first ever New Educator Weekend will bring together CTA members in their first five years in the profession. Starting Friday evening with cocktails, colleagues and comedy, attendees will be energized from the start. Saturday is a day to attend sessions of interest, learn from successful and inspiring educators, reflect with others from your chosen profession and talk about what lies ahead. Sunday morning will offer additional topics of interest and a closing brunch with a keynote speaker.

Registration is only $49 for CTA members which includes opening reception and dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, brunch on Sunday and all materials. Districts may pay the registration fee as this event offers over 12 hours of professional development and will serve as an excellent induction program for new educators.
