The premier workshop of its kind, CTA’s Summer Institute took place at UCLA. Offering a variety of sessions in to assist chapter leaders in the day-to-day representation of their members.

This week-long event will feature hands-on activities to hone the skills needed to meet the challenges of the coming year.

The Summer Institute offers nine strands or tracks of instruction that span the entire week (Sunday to Thursday) and two that are two-and-a-half days (running either Sunday through Tuesday, or Tuesday through Thursday). Here’s the list of available strands/tracks.

Participants register for the track of their choice. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some strands/tracks fill up quickly, so it is important to register as early as possible. You may be wait-listed if your first choice is not available at registration. You will be given the opportunity to register for other available strands/tracks while you are wait-listed for your first choice.

  • Individual Email Addresses ­— CTA communicates with the individual members during the summer and must  therefore have an email address that is checked during that time, not a chapter or school email.
